Preparing food in college

In college, many students have difficulty finding the time to prepare food and eat healthy. I interviewed Laura Johnson, 21, a Senior majoring in applied physiology and kinesiology at the University of Florida. She allowed me to photograph her throughout her day preparing meals and I decided to post about her lunch/snack. She made a tuna sandwich. A tuna sandwich is an easy and quick lunch to make in between classes. Days can be long and preparing simple things like a tuna sandwich can be helpful. She also made a smoothie as a snack. Cutting and freezing fruit in advance is very helpful for making smoothies. It allows you to just grab the cut up fruit from the fridge and put them in the blender and that’s it! You’re ready to go with a yummy healthy drink. Here are photos of her preparing lunch and a nice snack and cleaning it up afterward. It is important to clean up after you prepare food. Johnson said it helps her stay clean for later when she is busier.
