How to incorporate more vegetables into your life in college

It’s difficult to make meals in college especially vegetables! It’s so much simpler to make ramen noodles, pasta, or rice. However, I want to give you all some tips about how to incorporate more LEAFY GREENS and VEGETABLES into your everyday life.

1. Buy them…. As hard as it sounds we often forget to purchase vegetables or leafy greens. It makes a difference if you have them in your fridge. It’s important to buy vegetables either frozen or fresh.

2. Eat them… Don’t let them go bad. If you see something about to start going bad just stick it in a pan and sauté the veggies with some onions and garlic. Sautéed veggies always taste amazing!

3. Season them… It is really important to season vegetables with salt, pepper and dried herbs for them to taste better. You can not only sauté vegetables but it is very simple to put them in the oven and cook them on 350 for about 20 minutes.

4. Put them as a side dish… If you want to eat meat or chicken, you can always eat them as a side dish or make a small salad on the side.
